Learn how to diagnose core Diversity & Inclusion issues and respond with effective strategies and solutions.

In this one and a half day course held over two sessions, participants unpack the core components of diversity and inclusion to understand how to embed it as a strategic imperative that can enable critical business outcomes. Understanding what to measure, and how to collect and interpret the data is a key learning outcome. We also outline tools that can help you map your internal labour market and set gender targets. In the gap between the two sessions, participants can practice what’s learnt before regrouping to share insights in a final half day session.

Yolanda Beattie is a Principal in Mercer’s Talent business and Practice Leader – Diversity and Inclusion for the Pacific Market, based in Sydney.

Yolanda joined Mercer in February 2016 after spending three years with the Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency. In this role she was responsible for increasing the WGEA’s reach and influence though public campaigns, strategic partnerships, stakeholder engagement and innovative education programs. Her earlier career included several corporate affairs, communications and marketing roles at firms including Macquarie Group and IAG.

Mercer’s Diversity and Inclusion practice builds data-centric, accountability driven strategies and tailored programs that leverage insights from Mercer’s groundbreaking When Women Thrive research.
